1. Who we are

Hard Truth (operated by Berries Financial Advisory Services) is an AI-powered advisory product operated from India. This policy explains what data we collect when you use hardtruthbyamit.com and how we handle it.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile image. We never receive your Google password.
• Questions and conversations — the questions you ask and the answers you receive are stored so you can revisit them and so we can improve answer quality.
• Usage data — basic product events (e.g. questions asked, plan changes) used to operate quotas and improve the product.
• Payment data — payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. We store only the order ID, payment ID, plan, and amount.

3. How we use your data

• To provide answers to your questions via AI models (Anthropic Claude).
• To enforce plan limits and process subscription payments.
• To send transactional emails (payment confirmations, account notices) via Resend.
• We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Third-party processors

Your data is processed by: Convex (database, US), Vercel (hosting, US), Anthropic (AI processing, US), Razorpay (payments, India), and Resend (email, US). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data and conversations while your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email amit.tyagi@berriesadvisory.com and we will complete deletion within 30 days.

6. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). API access requires authenticated sessions. Payment signatures are cryptographically verified server-side before any plan change.
